Have you ever been on the tail end of a 2,000 mile road trip, completely exhausted, underfed, over caffienated, with a measly package of sour gummy worms in your stomach...looking out into the horizon saying to yourself “will I ever know the true feeling of satiation again?” Feels pretty awful, right? It was at this point we decided, NO MORE!!! With Grand Junction approaching and hope on the horizon, we turned to google...the GOAT of local cuisine exploration. In the search bar, we typed in “how THE FRICK can I satisfy my urge for BOTH egg rolls AND corned beef? IS IT POSSIBLE? ” Enter...the GOAT. Our tires squealed with joy as we pulled up to the sophisticated, yet comfortable pub style restaurant. Opening the menu felt like finding a velvety four leaf clover on an Irish hillside on the brightest of spring days. Between the Irish egg rolls, fish and chips, and salmon Cesar salad, we knew that there would be a pot of gold at the end of our rainbow ;) Inspiring. Delectable. Bursting with flavor. With the luck of the Irish on our side, we left feeling invigorated and inspired for the next 300 miles. WE WILL RETURN!!!

One of the best fish and chip dinners I have ever had... Our appetizers were spot on and the peanut butter dessert was to die for... So good, we went back the second night just to experience different foods and was not disappointed. Thanks for great food, service and being so friendly! For and out of towner like me, it felt like you treated my husband and I like royalty.

What a wonderful gem on the Western slope! This place was a surprise - not a small town mom and pop feel, but a major city kind of restaurant located in a bustling downtown area. The food was exquisite and well-made. Each dish was packed full of flavor. The service was friendly and the eating space was large and inviting, but enough room to relax and enjoy. Fish and chips was to die for and Irish egg rolls are never a bad choice. I would return to try more dishes. If you're really hungry in GC this is the place to go to be satisfied.

Came here to watch Liverpool raise the EPL title and it exceeded all expectations!! Phenomenal atmosphere. Great food. Amazing prices for drinks. Would suggest for anyone who loves an authentic European pub. A major thanks to them for everything!

Popped in after a long flight to get some food to hold us until dinner. Right downtown, easy parking on side streets, seated outside on a beautiful day and watched the world go by. Fish and chips were excellent with fries that were a little different cut but really good. Super friendly and attentive waitress who also gave us some suggestions from local on some places to eat while we were in town. Casual stop, neat place to grab a bit and soak up the downtown vibe.

My husband and I ate at the Goat and Clover for the first time about a week ago, Feb 13, 2025. He ordered the Jameson BBQ burger and I ordered the English Meat Pie. While waiting, we tried their potato skins, and oh my lord they were so good! When our food arrived and he took a bite of his burger, his eyes got as big as saucers! He let me try it and it was delicious! My meal was savory like it have been simmering for hours! So good! We will be going back!

Ate on our way through town. I ordered fish and chips and my wife had their shepherds pie. We both enjoyed our meal. Parking wasn't easy to find but the walk wasn't bad. Good small restaurant.
